But I hate bikes in general , they are just toooooooooooooo dangerous overall (even when you are riding them safely, its the other people on the road that worry me so)

Lately..... I am tempted to open the car door as one of these idiots zooms past me! And I ride a bike...... but the J a c k a s s e s who ride like that make the rest of us look bad.
There are lots of safe riders out there

There are lots of safer riders out there. And it ***** that some ruin it! But you know whats even worse.... When you see the people doing stupid crap and they never get hurt but the person who rides good does.
I will admit that I saw one person die on a bike. He was doing a wheelie and lost control crossed over traffic and was hit head on by a young girl. The kid died and I did think to myself well he was being an arse

We had to white line a few times. Mainly because of heavy stop and go traffic. You cant stop and go on a motorcycle. And if their is any sign of rain you have to get off the rain. It is extremely dangerous to be riding while raining. Which means get off the road fast and anyway possible. Yes it is dangerous, but sometimes you have to do what you have to do.
I love riding the motorcycle with my hubby. We have a blast. I am not scared with him it's the other idiots on the road who dont know how to use their mirrors that I am scared of. And the complete ignorant people who say "I didnt see you coming" BS! You didnt see me, but how the hell did you not hear me. The teenagers who insist on blasting their radios so loud you cant even hear a horn are the ones that really drive me up a wall.
The best bumper sticker I have seen is "loud pipes save lives."
I am not going to defend the actions of us and what we do but I would never stop riding the motorcycle with hubby. We lost a good friend of ours while he was riding and he went doing what he loved doing, riding!

How do you hear??
I cant keep my radio too loud especially in FL since most bikes are muffled and if I am yelling at another driver because they dont know what a directional is I sure want them to hear what I am yelling at them

I HATE when they drive inbetween the cars. One a couple of kids did it while there was traffic on the SS and he bumped into the back of our car and fell off and almost got run over!
After DH made sure he was okay he yelled at him LOL, and made him pay for the dent he made inour car.

My Dh rides a motorcycle, I always worry, not about his driving but everyone else.
The ones I can't stand are those crotch rockets, its them who are always doing the wheelies and passing in between cars, it scares the cr*p out of me. I hate them, I know they don't all ride that way, but some of them are just so obnoxious!

I agree! It's usually the younger riders who think they're immortal and they believe that all of the drivers are thinking how cool they are...they love to put on a show~!

Yeah but do you have a system in the honda???
I was one of those people that had 900 Watts of stereo coming out of my trunk in my 2001 Civic. I use to make people rearview mirros shake if they were in front or behind me and if I was next to a store you could see the window flexing....It was pretty cool....
As for motorcycles, I hate the people that drive like idiots and think it is cool to scare the bejevious out of someone and rdrive between cars on the parkway. On sunday we were on the wantagh and Danielles dad was driving and some jack on a sport bike flew between our car and the car next to us doing close to 100 miles an hour, in and out of traffic. The guy had to have a death wish.

or how about when you drive through a parking lot and set off car alarms bc of your radio
I had a jackass do the samething on the ss then looked in my rearview and saw the rest of his group about 5-6 others, a second later they were all a good distance ahead of me, and i was cruising at 70-80

Oh I used to love going through the parking garage at fortunoffs when I worked there. I had a 94 civic that was slammed to the ground, had a stainless steel exhaust and a 600 watt stereo system. If it wasnt my exhaust then it was my stereo that use to set everyone car alarms off - Miss that car
