Unholy Bloat!
Do any of you ladies get extremely bloated before your period arrives? I swear- I know it's normal and all- but why must I go for days with my pants not fitting, my belly looking like I'm 5 months pregnant, and that annoying uncomfortable bloated feeling?
UGHHHHHH!
Any remedies that work??

I get that as well. Honestly it sounds odd, but drinking a lot of water works for me. The constant peeing helps relieve it! But I do feel your pain...

I was going to suggest drinking lots of water too. I find that drinking warm, plain water tends to help. I don't always get this with my period, but when I do, it's sooo uncomfortable. Hope it gets better!

Re: Unholy Bloat!
Thanks! I'm trying that right now... it's funny because I'm retaining so much that even though I started drinking a ton of water today, I haven't peed as much as I normally would drinking this much.
But it's helping I think!

Re: Unholy Bloat!
Bloating is you retaining water. If you drink a lot of water, your body doesn't fight to retain as much of it, if that makes sense. So that's why if you're bloated, the best remedy is to drink lots of water.
Also, carbonated beverages are the worst, especially diet sodas. And sodium contributes to water retention, so try to avoid salty foods.
I get this every month for like a week, so I feel your pain!
