Poconos
Someone suggested the caesar resort in the poconos but said there were different ones depending on your age/what you're looking to do. Has anyone ever been there? Would you recommend it? Which one would you stay in?

Re: Poconos
i've been to 3 of the 4 (the 4th allows kids which is why i haven't been.) Of the other three, there are:
Pocono Palace - only one with cross country skiing. they also have some popular room categories that other places don't have.
Cove Haven - this place is HUGE. So big that there is a bus that drives around the grounds. Its too big for me.
Paradise Stream - The smallest of the bunch and my personal favorite. They have a room called Lakeside Villa and after my last experience in xmas 2007, I wouldn't stay in any other room. the villas are the newest and have normal shaped super comfy beds. now why is the shape of a bed so important you may be asking yourself? because the other rooms, at all of the resorts (with the exception of one room type at the palace which i don't care for) are round and reallly old and hard and uncomfortable. the rooms in all of the other categories are dated (it's part of the charm, i say this genuinely) while this one doesn't give off that stigma.
all that said, dh and i have gone to these resorts over and over again so you'll have a great time, imo, no matter where you stay. but just keep in mind that you're going to a super cheesy love-y dovey 'land of love' place that's kinda trapped in time. they've been on sale for quite awhile now.
