Prayers Need My FIL was just diagnosed with Prostate CancerUPDATE: No CANCER IN BONE

They caught it early enough but on the 27th when I found out what we are having baby wise he is going in for a full bone scan to make sure the cancer didn't spread!! Please say a prayer for him!! He wants to meet this grandchild so bad!!!!

UPDATE: We found out today the results of his full body bone scan test!! Pray it is not there

UPDATE AGAIN: NO CANCER IN THE BONE THANKS FOR THE PRAYERS LADIES

Just keep positive. My FIL has the same thing. It depends on the severity of it, my FIL has stage 4 cancer and was told he will live a long life.

keep posiitive! My dad is a survivor of Prostrate...bladder and thyroid cancer...anything is possible!!!! I am sure his desire to meet your little one will push him thru this!!!

I'm sorry to hear..Try and stay postive..My fil also had prostrate cancer..it is very common from what I hear and usually most curable (more so than other cancers). My uncle also had it..But thankfully both my fil and uncle are fine..So try and keep your head up...Your FIL is in my prayers.

I will keep your FIL in my thoughts and prayers. My dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer last year, as well, and they thankfully caught it early. He had surgery and has been declared cancer free, so FIL will be ok FM if you need to talk.

I just went through this with my dad and FIL. FIL had the surgery in April and is doing well. My dad did the cyberknife (radiation) at Winthrop in July and is doing great!!! Let me know if you need any info on cyberknife..it is pretty new and only done at Winthrop (basically radiation but only for 5 days straight). Good Luck
