Hello! I need to get the ball rolling on my order. What do you use for special education students?

hmm, do you have math manipulatives? Those are VERY helpful.

I don't know exactly what you're working with in terms of students, but we've found, in our CTT class, that kids who need help with reading/letter recognition, etc...just started using sand and sandpaper for tactile..hth...

are you a speech therapist? my speech therapist uses this for when she works with some of my kids that have phonemic awareness difficulties. there is a lot you can do with the program as it increases in difficulty and complexity and you can focus on particular skills... so you could go from phonemic awareness to rhyming words to sentence struture. you need a computer and earphones to use this program. i haven't heard of classroom sp. ed. teachers using this program... only the speech therapists in my building use it, but although if you're familiar with it, perhaps it might be useful to you.

the grade level, or more appropriate for special ed. kids: their functioning level, is going to make a big difference in what you order.

i definitely recommend math manipulatives for sure!

It is more used by SLP's and you have to be trained in it, "I think". It is a pretty involved program but, has great results.

earobics is more for SLP's and AO classrooms...we had it in our class, but didn't like it...

I think you should look into probably some math manipulatives or even a reading intervention program

Lakeshore sells the tactile letters. They really are great for letter rec. and word building/recognition!
