dr Kofinas???

After having blood work done, my ob wants to send me to him b/c of some issues. Does anyone go to him? Does anyone know if he take insurance??? I couldn't tell from his website and I wan't sure if REs even took insurance or if this is something I should not worry about. Thanks!

i called dr kofinas office to ask the same questions. They accept most insurances except GHI LOL. ya thats mine - good ol ghi. I was searching the internet and hes been highly recommended. They also accept out of network insurances. Im not too sure. The receptionist said he does not deal with ghi and depending who the ob is they will work with u in fees. They are still extremely expensive (working with u she said is about 600 a visit)

I just started seeing an RE and made a call to the office to see if he accepted my insurance, and was happy that he did. Alot of insurance companies will cover consults, labwork and diagnostic procedures. You should definitely look into who is in network under your insurance b/c each of these can be quite costly. Your RE going to start by running these tests anyway you might as well have insurance pay for them and you can take your file with you anywhere if you don't like who you're working with. HTH
