"female q" tmi so i apologize
ok need some advice and since we dont have an off topic board im posting here. i am on day 2 of my period and today i had such intense cramps, that i felt like my back and stomach were going to split in two pieces and my boobs were going to explode..to be honest this is nothing new cause i always get this... BUT THEN I had the most intense, sharp pains...shooting "down there" and I seriously couldnt even walk, i was def. worrried and after ten mins thank god it stopped but i was really worried, has any1 ever gotten that?? w..t...f was it!!!?

I'm sorry you feel so crummy michi.  I have no idea what that pain could have been, so I'm not help. Most likely if it only happenned once it wasn't anything to be alrmed over, but I think you should probably tell your gyn about it just in case.

If I am not mistaking, I heard that going on birth control helps w/the intense cramps. You might want to discuss it w/your gyn and definitely let him/her know about the severe pain you experienced.

i have had something similar to me happen- before and during my period... its a painful ovulation....the articles say it happens in th emiddle but can occur during and after.. i have actually been hospitalized for it because the pain was so bad i doubled over and couldnt get up.. heres a few links to it.. you need to see a dr. though!!
