Re: where does one go for career advice?
Are you an alumni of any college? This is usually a good place to start. Since money is an issue, I would not recommend seeing a career counselor or buying any books. Try going to your library and borrowing some books. What Color is Your Parachute by Richard Nelson Bolles is a good book. If you know what you are interested in, I can suggest better books or materials.
I'm in the field and maybe able to answer any questions you have. I may be a bit rusty since I only work p/t. Feel free to FM.

If you went to college go to their alumni or career services offices!! They can be really helpful!
