unemployment question
My company closed down in November. I was lucky to find temp work right away so I did not file for ue. I recently started a new perm position but its so horrible I'm thinking of leaving (boss is crazy, yells all day long. started having anxiety attacks since i started & i don't think any job is worth my health).
a friend told me i could file for ue from my original company that closed down since i was employed there for over 15 weeks. does anyone know if this is correct?

As far as I know, you can't apply if you quit your job & since you are working now, that is what they go by, not just because you had been laid off previously. By taking another job, I believe you disqualified yourself for UE benefits.
