I need a good funny read..please
Hey Guys, I really need something good and fun to read. I have been having alot of anxiety and would love to just have a good book to escape with... I have read most common chick lit books. Sophie Kinsella..etc...is there anything that might now be as "known" that u can recommend?

How about Meg Cabot? She has a few different series, a Queen of Babble one, and A size...is not fat.
You can also check into Janet Evanovich. The number series(Stephanie Plum) is pretty funny

I enjoyed The Ridiculous Race.. I read it after someone posted about it.. I thought it was really cute..
Its about 2 guys that race around the world and aren't supposed to take any planes to get there.. It was pretty funny.

Naked by David Sedaris. Each chapter is a short essay, some are funnier than others but good quick read. I literally laughed out loud many times.

I was totally going to recommend this series as well. Love these books!! The last person I turned on to them, called the books, "like crack"

Are You There Vodka, It's Me Chelsea by Chelsea Handler was hysterical. Also, Magical Thinking and Possible Side Effects by Augusten Burroughs were very good as well.

Watermelon and Lucy Sullivan is Getting Married, both by Marian Keyes. Also Bridget Jones's Diary cracked me up- the original chick book.
