Can anyone recommend a GI specialist for colonoscopy?
I don't usually post here but my DH has to have one soon due to family hx? and do you recommend general anesthesia or local anesthetics? Thanks so much.

I went to Dr. Purow in Huntington on Main St. It's a large group and everything was done there. It was a few years ago, but I remember it being very easy and smooth sailing.

they give you light sedation. You won't remember a thing. The best 15 minute nap you ever took.

I just had one 2 weeks ago, it went well didn't feel a thing.
I go to Dr Perry Millman. He is located in Lake Success....
