lol Thats why my phone is off during the day! I hate texting. I don't do it ever, unless its necessary..I don't see the hype either..its annoying

I actually don't mind texting. I find it easier to ask a ques or give a quick response rather be on the phone, which I hate. But I cannot stand when people feel the need to have full out convos thru text!
I absolutely 1000% agree!!!
quick stuff, texting is great, but a conversation question is too much for me.

Oh my gosh- YES! I've gotten a few of those. Especially since I moved right after the wedding, I sometimes get text messages from people in NY asking how Married Life is or about Colorado and what i've been up to.  Dude, I've been living here for 3 months, how am I possibly going to sum it all up in ONE TEXT? Obviously you don't really care what's going on with me, otherwise you'd call.
Honestly, I text a hell lot more than I call. But that's only when I have a quick question. If I actually have something to say or if it's a real friend that i haven't talked to in a while (esp since now i live far away) then i CALL.
So I wouldn't be able to live without either. lol. I need texting just as much as I need the actual phone 
Totally. I live upstate NY now so its easier to text to my close friends or family or even DH at work. People I dont talk to everyday I hate the "How is upstate" text! What? Call me or even an email would be fine!

I did feel like last year. OMG!! We didnt have unlimited texting and friends of ours, who did, texted ALL the time. We once had a bill of $50 in text messaging charges. So we cancelled the option of text messages for a while. But then DH started a new job and it was the only way for us to communicate while he was at work, so we went to unlimited text messaging. And now, I like it. There are so many times where I am not in the mood to talk with others and will just text them. But It does get annoying when thats the only way people will communicate. If you need to actually have a full convo with me, call. If its just to tell me a quick thing or a quick question, a text is fine

I like to text as well but when I have to explain something that might be a bit long I can't stand it. I usually text back that I am going to call the person because I can't explain it in a text.
