When you got an RX for pre natals did the pharmacy substitute them?

on my bottle it says substituted for citrical rx - do they always do this?

not unless its the generic vitamin for your prescpriton. IF they RX does say "DAW" (dispense as written) they will usually give you the generic.

thanks, I am going to call my doctor monday morning and my insurance company too. I remember taking this brand they gave me for a different prenatal vitamin and this calnate made me TMI alert- constipated so def have to change it! thanks!!!

I have the same prenatals...Calnate which is the genertic for Citrical. I looked them up and both are identical except for the name. As far as the constipation...most pre natals will do that because of all the additional iron. Either get prenatals with stool softeners in them or add fiber to your diet.
