Vampire Diaries series
I keep seeing commericials on the CW for the Vampire Diaries show coming this fall. I'm so excited they're making a show out of this series. I really reccomend it for those who love Twilight or the Sookie Stackhouse books. The series is YA and a lot more PG than the Sookie Stackhouse books.

The order is
The Awakening
The Struggle
The Fury
Dark Reunion
They were originally published in the early 90's as single volumes but when they were republished after the Twilight craze, they came out in double volumes, so one book contains The Awakening and The Struggle and the second contains The Fury and Dark Reunion.
I think a lot of people are going to be reading these after the show comes out next fall, just like how the Sookie Stackhouse books became really popular after True Blood started.

You're right. It's part of a new trilogy she is writing featuring the same characters.

wow I didn't know there was another book the author stoped publishing for a while i really enjoy those books. The secret circle was also a good read

it ends w/ a cliff hanger.
does anyone know when the next book is coming out?

So I just finished the first 4 books and I enjoyed the series and I feel like she should have left well enough alone..
I am on the 5th book now and I think it's utterly retarded.. I am reading it slow bc I am having a hard time getting through it..Anyone else feel that way?
