I was lucky enough to get called back for a second interview. They want me to do a mini lesson geared toward 5th grade. My choice of subject (but not art or PE). I do not have to teach the lesson but explain the step by step sequence and rational for it.


I'd like to do reading, writing, or math.

I am looking for something that I can show various teaching strategies and include something where the students get up and do something physical. I'd like it to be interactive. The entire lesson does not have to be 10 minutes, just my explanation of it. In 10 minutes take them through the lesson including background and assessment, and extensions
