Does Lupron scare anyone?

My sister was put on Lupron 2x for 6 months each time to control her ednometrois. She has been hearing a lot of scary stuff about this drug now. Does anyone else get worried about it?

I was put on it for 3 weeks, and had no problem

I had some headaches when I was on it, but other than that no problem.

I realize this is an open forum and ppl are entitled to say what they like, but posts like these really bother me. I am sure your intention was not to upset anyone, but please show a little compassion for those of us on teh other side of the fence

Some of us one here are taking lupron (me) to try to have a baby. I know the mediactions are playing havoc with my body and I really don't need to come on here and hear someone who has no experience of infertility first hand start posts like this

Maybe its all the "scary stuff about this drug" that is causing me to be super sensitive, but if my dr finds it necessary to perscribe it for me then I'll take it

I have heard "scary stuff" about all the fertility meds.

Does it scare the crap out of me...sure does....Do I feel I have any choice if I want to have a baby...not really.

I was NOT trying to upset anyone. I was just really asking if anyone was worried about the this particular drug since my sister was on it for 2x (= 12 months in total) and is now very worried about having been on it.

I will delete the post if someone is that offended. Just let me know.
