Strep without fever?
Is it possible to have strep with no fever? 
I can think of maybe only 2 or 3 times in my entire life my throat has hurt this bad, or almost this bad  Hopefully seeing the dr today and betting it's strep but I have no fever (not yet, anyway)

It happened to me last summer. Bad strep and no fever. I very rarely run fevers though. I was so sick I almost passed out walking back to my apt from the doctors office. Terrible day. Take care of yourself

Thanks! Turns out no strep. I was actually shocked. Dr says just rest and drink fluids.
I am STUNNED there's nothing more serious wrong with my throat, it seriously feels like its got a knife stuck in it!

**** really?! Could it be allergies? Ar you having and other symptoms? Hope you feel better soon

No other symptoms..... just a really really really bad sore throat This is day 3 and there hasn't been any improvement. I spoke to my dr today, and he recommended a spray to numb it... but..... I just want it to go away!
He said again that there didn't seem to be anything there.
I think he's blind
