Nineteen Minutes
I am torn between not being able to put it down and not wanting to pick it up and just hugging my babies (both to keep them safe from people like this and to "prevent" them from becoming like this). I am so sad reading this book

Re: Nineteen Minutes
It was a difficult book to read. As a parent you pray your child is never in a situation at school where they are supposed to be safe. You also hope that they aren't bullied to the point where it drives them to retaliate. You are horrified at what Peter does yet can almost understand what drove him to do it I teach this book to my seniors and it has caused many debates. It is interesting to see the different views. When I first read it I was not a parent but now that I am I see the book in a totally different light. Same with My Sister's Keeper.

Re: Nineteen Minutes
I just finished it. It was an extremely difficult book to read but I loved it and was very happy with her ending.

I really liked this book-I'm plowing through a lot of her books these days.

Re: Nineteen Minutes
i really like this book too. It was upsetting to see what Peter went through and what drove him to do what he did. I think it is a great book to have your seniors read and debate.
