pre-seed and miscarriage

A friend of mine had been trying to concieve for 9 months before she tried pre-seed and finally got pregnant. I tried it and it worked for me too, although my DH and I hadn't REALLY tried before that. I miscarried, and am worried that may have had something to do with it.

Also, when I asked my OB about it she didn't even know what pre-seed was, is that bad? is pre-seed new? She said that we could use lubricant but couldn't use one that had sperm killers in it. I guess she just didn't know of the brand pre-seed?

I don't know anything about pre-seed (although I have heard it mentioned before on the TTC board) but I am sorry for your loss.

I'm sorry for your loss.

I have had 2 miscarraiges and have never used preseed. I have also known may women who have used it and has successful pregnancies. I don't think that preseeed would have anything to do with a miscarraige.

I can't imagine why that would have someting to do w/ it?? I used preseed and got pg...although I did miscarry...

pre-seed would have no impact on whether or not somone miscarries.

Sorry for your loss.
Pre- seed is a lubricant that is sperm friendly..
It has NOTHING to do with having a miscarriage
