Cramps w/ AF
When I was a teenager, I never got 1 cramp---nothing...my friends had them and I was happy i did not experience the pain they did...
Well, the older I have gotten, the more I am feeling horrible cramps. Whats the deal? Did this happen to anyone else? What are your "Remedies" besides ibuprofen?!

When I am not on oral contraceptives the only thing that works for me is Alieve and a heating pad.

You can try pamprin it is for AF related problems ( bloating, cramps) over the counter. Also when I had a DC 2 years ago after having a m/c I had the worst AF in my life I called the doctor in so much pain. They told me to take motrin with some food and to take the hottest shower I could possibly stand.

sometimes if they annoy me I will ask my DH to massage my lower abdomen and that seems to help. Along with some Motrin

I like to use the ThermaCare wraps, esp. when I'm sleeping. Motrin also works better for me to help the cramp pain. And lying on my stomach.
