Dry socket survivors....
Holy hell. On the trusty 1-10 pain scale, that went to 11.
I feel traumatized from this (and it happened over the weekend, OF COURSE, and the dentist was out until Tuesday grrrrrrrrr). I believe I actually saw God at one point there
On the other hand I think I lost 5lbs in 3 days yay me

my mil had it and it was god awful.
when i had 2 wisdom teeth pulled my face hurt for a week and i couldnt figure out why...i went back to the dr. and he just caught the start of dry socket.
Hope you feel better!

I had one recently, it is torture
I had to go to the dentist every few days for them to clean it and repack it  the pain was terrible BUT as soon as they put the cotton with oil of clove into the socket, it felt MUCH better....until they had to clean it out again

I had 2 after having my lower wisdom teeth out. It was terrible!!!! I had to go back to the dentist 3 times to have them packed. Vicodin was my friend for about 10 days. I am still traumatized from it.

I had my wisdom teeth out and was in a TON of pain but fortunately never got dry socket! My SIL did though and she was in an ENORMOUS amount of pain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So, I can understand what you're going through I hope you feel better soon!!!  Make some pudding over the stove, DH did that for me and it helped! (the jello brand)
