I tend to think I do a bit but my cousin definitely suffers. It's taken him a long time to get it "under control" and to live with it. He takes several medications to help. He has a pretty severe "case" of it.
My other cousin his sister, also has it but not as severe.

Unfortunately yes! I was much worse when i was younger but still have tendencies now but have learned how to "hide" them.

I suffer from obsessive thoughts, but no real compulsions. My obsessive thoughts can completely occupy me if I allow them to. Therapy is instrumental and I truly believe people can overcome even severe OCDs

i used to be. it's a form of anxiety and it became stronger the more intense my GAD became. when i began to calm my anxiety and channel the energy into different outlets, i was able to ease up on my compulsions because i could (more or less) control the obsessive thoughts.

I have. I was treated for depression and OCD. Medication and therapy was very helpful for both issues. Truly had a severe case of OCD,
