Where is my Professional Cert.!?!
Does anyone have a number or contact person other than the obvious numbers from the website. I don't know where my certificiation is. I emailed and they don't respond. I call and they don't answer. So exactly what am I supposed to do to get an answer!?!?!?!?! I purposely did this early so that I wouldnt be banging my head up against the wall at the very last minute.

I went through the same exact thing! I submitted everything to them in September tried contacting them several times (no response of course) and then in March it just showed up in the mail! So it basically took me 6 months to get mine!

I applied in July and I think I got it in February!
You could have your district office send them a letter or call them-- a friend of mine did that and BAM, she had her cert within DAYS!!

Yes, I believe that the superintendent's office has a special line they call for verification.

518 474 3901 Is this the number you have? I called that. The first couple of times I was kicked off because I was on hold for too long. The third time I got through to someone and my certification arrived 2 weeks later. Good luck, it's such a pain!

I had the same problem. I applied in August and finally received it in March. I just kept calling and emailing them. I have a contact at my old college that also called her contact who is normally really good but she was having trouble getting in touch with him because they downsized and he was now split between different jobs. There is also a time difference if a college recommends you and if you have to go through an evaluation of your folder. My husband applied for his at the same time as me and had his by October! My advice is to keep calling and get anyone you can to call on your behalf - your district, principal, whoever!

did you log onto the TEACH site to see what it says. If it says that you are certified (in whatever you applied for) I would just be patient...it's just a piece of paper that you are waiting for. If it says something else - go to your central office - they will get it done in no time!
