rough couple of weeks
Tomorrow will be two years since my dad died. It just hit me like a ton of bricks. I love and miss him so much. Some of you know his story - it was so sudden, out of nowhere, and he was only 59, and we were incredibly close. Sometimes I'm OK, and smile and laugh and remember good times when I think of him. Other times, like today, there is a hole in my heart.
My poor mom .....my uncle - her brother, died a week ago. He was sick, so this wasn't such a shock, but still, my poor mom - she lost her parents years ago, then my dad, and now her brother. My uncle lived in maryland, and she was sitting shiva there, and I went with her. We just got back yesterday. Now I'm a wreck. I was fine when I was there for her, but now, I"m an irrational mess. I'm also 5 months pregnant, so I'm sure the hormones aren't helping.
