2 questions

1. Have you ever had an endoscopy done (test that puts camera down your throat to look for gastro problems)? And if yes can you please explain the experience, what I should prepare myself for, etc.

Has anyone seen any of the gastro drs at the 400 building in Babylon on Main St? specifically dr. lobo?

I have an apt on thursday and I know I will need the test done, just a lil nervous

my husband had an endsocopy. its quick and painless. they put you under for it, run the tube down to take pictures and thats pretty much it. he was fine afterwards, just a little tired. i think its all of 10-15 minutes from what he said.

he had to have a friend go with him b/c he couldn't drive with the anesthesia.

I had an endoscopy done a few months ago. The test it self was not bad at all. They put you to sleep and I didn't feel anything at all. My throat was a little sore when I woke up but after having a drink It was gone. I went out to breakfeast right after. The doctor was able to tell me the finding right away.
It was by far and I had a lot of gastro test the easiest one by far.
