When are you no longer a.....
..... newlywed?
DH & I have been married for a year and a half and I still feel like we are newlyweds! Not that I'm complaining....

My husband and I have been married for a year and 3 months now and I still feel like a newlywed! 
I know that a lot of people in my family believe you are a newlywed until you have a baby. So maybe thats when? ... lol, I dont know!

2 years? We've been married more than one year but a bunch of people I know just got married in the past 2-3 months so I feel less "newlywed" now that we arent the most newly... wed

"they" say any more than a year and you arent a NW anymore... but i guess its all a state of mind!
some days i still feel like a NW and some days i dont... we just stopped getting the "so hows married life treating you" questions about 4 months ago... we've been married for a year and a half

Same here. Benn married 1 year, 3 months. We're constantly asked When were going to get pregnant.

I always thought it was 1 year and then today someone told us that when we have a kid we are no longer newley-weds. Got me thinking tho.......what about people who don't have kids

I think this reasoning is kind of silly. What about people who have honeymoon babies...are they less of newlyweds than people who don't want kids and have been married for 5 years, 10 years or more?
I've always kind of thought it was after your two year anniversary that you are no longer a newlywed.

DH and I have been married 1 yr and 5mnths. I would have said until we have babies....but I think I lean towards the 2 year mark.
