SEIT question?
Just some general questions... How do you communicate with them?
Do you use a communication book, or phone/text?
Do they let you know how your child is doing daily/weekly?
Do the regular teachers use the communication book, or something else?
TIA

Re: SEIT question?
Jacob has had a Seit for about a year. Last year in th 3's he had one 3x a week for 1 hour, During the summer 3xa week for an hour and this year 4 x a week for an hour and a half.
We communicated through a notebook which she writes what she does and how JAcob is during the time she is in the classroom. There is something written everyday that she is there.
I can also call her at anytime with any questions. I have her cell and home phone number.
I also see her when I rop Jacob off so I chat with her sometimes to find out how is doing face to face.

Re: SEIT question?
We have 2 SEITS each day for 1 1/2 each. They are actually our ABA therapists that transitioned over when we started preschool (which we had to pull her out of on Friday, but that's a whole other story). The morning SEIT i call every day when she left the school and the second I spoke to when I picked up my DD.

Re: SEIT question?
My daughter has a SEIT-1 hour per day, 5 times a week. We use a notebook to communicate but we also talk everyday when I drop her off. Today, actually, I had to signed attendance paperwork for October and she has remarks/comments for everyday that I got to read as well!

Re: SEIT question?
Whenever I do any SEIT work I write in the notebook everyday if I am doing services in the school. If there is an issue that I feel is pertinent to discuss as well I give the parents a call...
