I guess I belong here now

I belong on this board now.

I got a BFP in early Oct...but unfortunately it ended in a m/c. I had a bad feeling about it from early on as my symptoms started disappearing after a few days and I had non-doubling (although rising) betas and low progesterone. Had a sono at 6 weeks and saw a h/b (although it was slow). Started bleeding shortly after. A sono yesterday showed that I did in fact m/c...but the upside is that I have passed everything naturally.

DH and I are debating whether to try again right away or not. What have most people done?

Doctor gave me the okay being the pg never got very far and I passed everything naturally w/o any complications. He said it just comes down to how we feel emotionally.

The issue with waiting is that if we don't try again right away, we have to wait about 3-4 months to try again (for other reasons) and I hate having to wait that long.

Anyway, after a m/c - what do you start counting as CD1? Is it the day you start bleeding? Or is it when your betas go down to 0? My doc is following my betas weekly to make sure they go down to 0...but they are not there yet.

as far as when to count CD1.. they say you should wait for AF to come back and that would be CD1.. its hard to tell with having the loss..where you are at your cycle.

this board is a great support.. the girls are amazing.. dont ever give up

I am sooo sorry for your loss I know it is such a horrible thing and I am sorry you had to go through it. This board is great support. I am not sure I would've gotten through it w/ out the girls on here....they have been amazing...

As for trying again, there is no real way to tell which CD you are at which is why they normally say to get AF for the first time after so you can start w/ CD then.

It's not unheard of that you get pg right after a m/c (it happend to my neighbor) but then it's hard to tell how far along you are...

I'm so sorry for you loss.

Regarding ttc right away. I think I would wait for AF, and then start again, because then you can start counting correctly and know how far along you really are.

I'm very sorry for your loss. We are all here for you if you ever need advice or just to talk and/or vent.

As for trying again - it's really however you & your DH feel about it. I would wait at least one cycle though and count that next AF as CD1.

We are all here for support whenever you need us. Like everyone else said, all the girls on here are really great; I dont know what I would have done without them!!

I am so very sorry for your loss. The ladies on this board are great though! I would do whatever your doctor recommends and whatever you feel will be better for you emotionally. If you are ready to try again right away, then go ahead! Once again I am sorry for your loss.

I'm not sure what to count as CD1...I waited 2 cycles before trying again. As everyone else has said, the girls on this board are the best and we are here if you need anything.

I m/c in early October and like you, my body got rid of everything on its own. It was very early on so I decided to count the day I started to miscarry as my CD1. I am teacher who doesn't really have a permanent position, so we are desperately trying for a summer baby, so we decided to keep going without taking a break.

If the Dr. gave you the okay, then I would try when you feel ready. It was so hard for me in the beginning, and some days, still is. But the women on this board are AMAZING! We're all here for you during this hard time.
