HELP me with Shakespeare PLEASE!
I am DESPERATE....I have an 8 page paper to do, my teacher is OLD and gives no direction. He said to do it on any Shakespeare comedy (or comedies) and on any topic.....UGH I am the type of person that needs direction! I have no idea what type of topic to choose that can make 8 pages. I am a fast worker, I get papers done in no time...but this has me stumped. I don't know what to do, and don't even ask me when it's due....way too soon

You could do infidelity/mistrust of the opposite sex. It is a current so you have plenty to tie it in to modern times. It is prevalent in "Much Ado about Nothing" in regards to Hero and also in "The Merry Wives of Windsor"

how about the role of nature in The Tempest. ( was that a comedy?)

Religion in Shakespeare!
It's a prevalent theme in Othello and Merchant of Venice. Othello was Muslim and Shylock was Jewish - and both were portrayed as villians before you even meet them b/c of their non Christian beliefs.
