has anyone changed drs and then gone back to the first one?
I saw a cardiologist for 2 yrs. but this spring I thought I needed change so I decided to go to someone else (first as a 2ND opinion, but decided to stick with her) .... well, this new dr is in Manhattan . I like her as a dr, but she really annoys me bc her bedside manner is horrible . She is one of those famous "I've been on " Oprah" and "today" show" drs and kinda snobbish, every time I ask her a question about my condition she makes me feel like she is too good to answer anything and I should just trust her, no questions asked.
So I am thinking of going back to my old dr, who is also very good, I would just be honest and tell him I went to someone else for a while and explain why and how......
Do you think it's too weird ? has anyone done this?
(I know this whole thing sounds confusing and strange , but my situation is very complicated and certain things are hard to explain)
P.S. whatever happens I need to change drs I don't want to stay with this woman any more. So if you know of a good cardiologist in Queens or Manhattan please feel free to recommend one

Re: has anyone changed drs and then gone back to the first one?
i changed ob/gyns for a while and when i went back to the origional i told him flat out that i had changed because i wanted a better location for me.. he didnt mind.....
as for cardiologist recommendations, i would give you mine but he was recently in the news for having spy cams in the bathrooms... so i do not think he is still in practice...
i have also used the arrythmia center at st francis if that is what you are looking for... they are really good
