Question for you ladies- may be TMI
So today is exactly 30 days after my d & e and AF came. Im so relevied (not sure why). Anyway for the entire week Ive been having brown discharge (I read up and some say its old blood)
We would like to TTC asap. My question is-
Which day do I count as my first day? The day I saw the brwn dischrg or Blood FLow?

i would count your first day from the reg flow of blood, not old brown blood. That could just be left over from the D&C.
Also, have you had your follow up with your doc and have they told you to start trying right away for wait 1-2 cycles?
IMHO i would wait at least 1 cycle just to get your body back in order.

Thanks I thought so!
I had my follow up and he did tell me to wait for 2 cycles because I wouldnt know when I ovulate or theres a chance i don't ovulate. I still want to keep track, Im curious to see if my cycle goes back to normal.

I would count CD1 as the day you had blood flow.
It is good knowing your body is getting back to normal. I am still waiting to gt my period after this 2nd miscarriage. I can't wait for her to arrive so I can get back into TTC!
I would def follow your docs advice. They always told me to wait 1 full cycle after a mc & my RE told me to wait 2.

Each doctor is different so I woul dgo with what he/she says. My doctor said once I get AF on my own I can try again....but it's just hard to time and such. That's the main reason why they tell you to wait.

I am waiting till my 2nd cycle. Most Dr's say 1 is fine...so you should be fine!! Goodluck!
