silly question??

Does AF come 4-6 weeks after you start miscarrying or 4-6 weeks from when you stop bleeding after your miscarriage?

I had a complete miscarriage without a D&C, at the time of the miscarriage (2/4)the dr. drew my blood and my HCG had dropped to 245 and my prog to 3.5 -- pretty low! so is it safe to assume that my HCG would have dropped to 0 by now? it's been a little over a week.

I can't wait for the little spotting to stop completely, for AF to get herself moving again.

It's really hard but there is no "rules". Thats what was the hardest for me. I don't htink there is a real answer to your question. My doctor told me that you will be at 0 when you get your period again (he doesn't really go by blood tests) Each person is different. I think that its after the bleeding completely stops...but my doctor told me 4-8 weeks. ....I wish there were more answers. I know I wanted them

It really can vary, it can be anywhere from 4- 10 weeks or possibly longer. I think they say general 4- 8 weeks after the bleeding.
