If you left your job to take a position somewhere else...
Did you get your boss/coworkers anything when you left? I've never resigned from a job until now... the last two companies I worked for both relocated so we were all laid off together.
My last day at my job is tomorrow and I am really close with everyone here. I'm leaving on good terms, I was just offered a position elsewhere. The whole department is taking me out to lunch tomorrow. Should I get them each a card? Or more than that? What do you suggest?

If they are taking YOU out, I would stand up and give a little speech and thank them and let them know that you have enjoyed working with them and let them know. Maybe send thank you cards AFTER to the work place to them.

I would mybe bring in a breakfast basket tomorrow for the office to share or some treats for lunchtime (homebaked brownies/cupcakes..etc) and then send a Thank You & Good Bye email to your coworkers.

Usually your co-workers would chip in and get YOU something if you're leaving, or have a cake or sign a card for you, but I've never given gifts to my boss or to my co-workers.
