How do you get into a school district
as in to work in the office, admin?

I work as p/t security in a school & got the job thru friends networking...I would try looking up school websites and see if they have openings listed, otherwise call the main offices and inquire..good luck!

yes - you have to go through civil service for administrative jobs.
you can also look for monitor (lunch/recess) or teacher aide positions (which includes one-on-one special ed aides)

yes, my aunt took the civil service test in order to get into an admin job. i think it took a bit before they called her after taking the test so it's not immediate

My Il's old neighbor took the test & it took years for her to be called.
