Quick question for anyone claiming Unemployment "Extended Benefits"?
How does that work? Do you do it the same as EUC (Emergency Unemployment Compensation), i.e. log onto the computer and answer the questions?
Or is it different? If different, please explain how its diffferent?

Im from Maine but when I did Extended Benefits, I got mailed a special claim form with 4 slot for 4 different jobs that you have to apply for but you have to apply on 2 different days. Then mail it in. It's not that bad.

i'm in NY. I didn't have to do anything, it just kicked in when it was time. have you looked at your benefits status? it shows the remaining balance. it will "refresh" with the new balance based on your extended benefits w/o you doing a thing. the only time you have to do something is when your claim hits a year (i.e. a year from the date you first applied for unemployment benefits). at that time you have to refile a claim like a new claimant.
