Does life insuarance exist for people with diabetes that isnt through the roof?

i am not sure... i am a type 1 diabetic and never looked into it b/c i imagine it is so expensive

I have it through work, so they don't check for health issues....

Definitely the first place to check. There may be a limit on how much he can get without a medical background (5X annual salary, or something like that), but it's better than nothing.

My DH is a long term diabetic. In addition to the basic life insurance offered through work, we were also able to obtain term life insurance for him. It cost more than it would for a healthy person but it's not unreasonable.
