Lower left abdominal pain
For the past 3 weeks I have had this pressure/twinges in my very low left abdominal area. It even radiates through to my lower left side of my back. My stomach also seems to be more bloated than usual.
I went to my gyno thinking it was like my ovaries or something and they put me on an antibiotic thinking maybe it was an infection but said that the pain may be coming from like my colon.
I have a sonogram on saturday on my pelvis and abdominal but I am really nervous as to what is causing my discomfort. I am not in a lot pain, just uncomfortable.
Any ideas??????????????

Re: Lower left abdominal pain
Lower left is ovary or colon. You could have an inflamed colon or bowel. Or you could have a cyst on your ovary (did they do a sono?)
If you are bloating in addition to the pain, it is most likely your colon.
It could be anything: Diverticulitis IBS Spastic Colon endometriosis (ovary) celiac disease
