Sharp Pain - lower left back
Since yesterday afternoon I keep getting this sharp pain in my lower left back. It's not the middle of my back, more my side - almost under my ribs.
The pain keeps coming and going and its quite painful.
Do you think I really need to go to the DR? Maybe I pulled something?
I go to the dr alot as it is for my car accident stuff. This is not related to that, so if I don't have to go to the doctor that would be great.
But it is such a weird pain.

Kidney!!!!!
THis is exactly how it felt, a sharp pain in my lower back. I let it go, thinking I pulled something. Then I got a fever, thought I was getting sick. Sparing you the gorry details, I ended up hospitalized for a week with a bad kidney infection and ended up needing minor surgery to open up a blockage in my ureter.
Could be a kidney stone too - I'd have it checked out!

ooh. scary. maybe i will call. its so hard going to the drs with 2 little ones. i have no one to watch them. maybe i can get an appt tomorrow.

I was thinking kidney too, but kidney stones. Def. something to get checked out either way! Hope you feel better!

It could also be Gallbladder. The pain usually sits at you bra line on the rib cage anywhere all around.

no usually not.
i went to the dr they did urine. said there was some bacteria and did blood work.
