What to do, what to do, ELA related.
I just got the email about being chosen to grade the ELA. Here is what it entails:
It is from 4/30 to 5/12, everyday after school and both days on the weekend.
One weekend is my half brothers b-day, the next is mothers day.
So basically, it would be 17 days straight.
I don't know WHERE I'll be grading (I could be sent to an area where there is NO parking)
I don't have the most reliable car.
I won't be grading with my friends (we used to do it together but they didn't sign up this year and we used to carpool)
I won't get home until 8 pm, there will be no cleaning, no cooking, etc.
What would you do?
The money is the ONLY thing pulling me. It's GREAT money.

The grading is not being done during school hours? That's strange. DH is doing it, but during school hours.
I know the money is great, but 17 straight days of it on top of teaching? I don't think I'd do it.

EXACTLY! But the more I think about it, that money is summer fun!

EXACTLY! But the more I think about it, that money is summer fun!
It's a tough call- if you can handle the late nights I would do it. Summer fun money is important. I always seem to run out of $$ in the summer- if you're like me the money would come in handy!
