NYC teachers who are under teh new requirement, 175 pd hours??

How do you report these hours to the state and also our monthly afterschool meetings counts and what else counts? TIA

I am not NYC, but all NYS teachers have the same requirements.

What you can count towards your hours:
1. Grading State Assessments (ie Regent Exams, Math/ELA Exams)
2. Professional Development in or out of school
3. Conference Days
4. Additional graduate classes
5. Curriculum planning and development
6. Peer evaluation
7. Delivering professional development
8. Service as an elected officer in professional organizations
9. Publishing in educational journals

*Regular faculty meetings you can not count.*

i thin you can keep track of them the TEACH website. I havent done it yet, but I have a marble notebook that I keep track of all things I think could meet those requirements
