What do your step kids call you?
I have a 9 month old DS and I'm dating again. I'm in a serious relationship and although its not an issue at the moment, I was thinking recently what my DS will eventually call whomever I re-marry?? He has a father who is in his life, so he wont call a step-father "dad".
What do your step kids refer to you as?

My first name. We had some joke names in the beginning too. I think that helped ease the transition. But now it is just my first name. Legally, he can't call me mom bc of the divorce agreement. However, DSS's mom did try to have him call step-dad "dad." That was so hurtful to DH and he was very grateful it was in their divorce agreement that she could not do so. That ended quickly and DSS calls step-dad by his first name too.
Oh, and he tells everyone I am his step-mom to all who introduces me to. He is an old pro at something that he unfortunately has had to get used to.

My SD calles me "Sassy" ....My name is Stacey and when she was a baby she couldn't pronounce it and it just stuck...So now at 12 she still calls me that , its our special thing

First name. We also joked once that I'm her 2nd mom so she could call me Mom2.

My step dtr calls me by my 1st name and my son calls my husband (which is his step dad) by his 1st name.

My SD calls me by my 1st name and my son calls DH (his stepdad) by his first name but he introduces him as his dad. His birthfather is kinda in and out of the picture, he's 13y/o and it suprised me the first time I heard him introduce him as "dad"

My SD calls me "Stine" for Christine. She has been saying this since she was little and it stuck. It's funny because all of my nieces and nephews younger then her call me Aunt Stine
