Re: Lupron
My dr. never told me that and I haven't had it refrigerated this whole time. My Gonal-F yes but not the Lupron or Menopur.
The pharmacist said that it isn't required. I hope the potentcy is the same and I'm praying my cycle doesn't get screwed up bc of this

Re: Lupron
I'm sorry if I scared you, maybe my dr was just being cautious.

Re: Lupron
no worries I'm calling my dr. just to make sure. The pharmacist said the some dr's tell you to and others don't and that its not really a big deal.
I'm calling my Dr. just to be safe.
thanks

See...I refrigerated the Lupron, but never the Gonal-F. I'm sure it's not a problem.

Re: Lupron
I spoke to my Dr he said as long as I wasn't "baking it in the sun" I shouldn't worry about it.
Crisis over (for now)
Thanks!

Re: Lupron
I just reread the thread - my lupron is refrigerated and my Ganerilex is not - really strange...

Re: Lupron
Now I'm curious as to why different RE's instruct different things. Just something else to add to the confusion of this process...

Did the menopur ever cause you pain? My dh gives me the injection and I'm in tears it's so painful. Its not the needle going in its when he injects the meds. If you did have pain, or anyone else for that matter, did you notice doing this slower made it less painful?

Re: Lupron
I had my doctor administer a 3month shot of Lupron Depot. I asked the pharmacist when I picked it up if it needed to be in the fridge and he said no.
