I have to agree with the showing up at my desk expecting me to be breathlessly waiting for whatever you expect me to instantly know about without preamble.. I HATE mid sentence conversation starters "So you got that right?" umm got what? what account are you even TALKING about!
yes yes yes! I constantly get "so you know about that patient right? you got the message about that patient right? Did you see that patient?"

Do not heat up stinky food in the microwave, especially fish.
And may I add- do not use the communal microwave to sanitize your breast pump pieces and then remove them from the bag and let them AIR DRY on the table where every one is eating their lunch- or trying to.

not entirely office related but:
Do not post passive aggressive comments on facebook about people wearing flip flops not picking up their feet. I know you were talking about me. I am your "friend" on FB and can see your status. And yes we can wear flip flops on Sundays. You were wearing them too!!

I hope no one minds that I sterilize the pump pieces in the microwave - but I always dry them in my own office!

Re: Can we please talk about ettiquite
Do not start talking to me about a random file, without mentioning the file name, before I've even finished turning on the computer, taking off my coat....ONE - Your files are NOT the only one's I work on, so if you are not specific I might have NO IDEA what you are talking about and TWO - Let me freakin' take my coat off first!!
If you heat a cup of tea in the microwave, please please please do not let it sit there for a half an hour. We are in a very small office, and the incessant "reminder beeping" of the microwave is MIND BLOWINGLY ANNOYING every 10 seconds!
If you send me an email about a non-urgent matter, do NOT call me 3 seconds later to ask the same question!
If you are working remotely, do not call the office six times in a row to get me, then when I finally answer the phone, do not say "I didn't know if you were there, I've been calling for 10 minutes."...I do actually have to use the restroom on occaision, and I haven't trained the dust mites to answer the phone yet...
I could do this all day...it's like Therapy!

#5- If I'm on the phone, please don't stand by my desk and wait for me to get off. Come back, or email me. Just for that, I'll find 394847 more things to talk about.
I agree with most of these except for this one.. I work in a big office - if i've taken the time to walk over to someone's desk to ask a question, its obviously something of importance that needs to be answered right away, otherwise i'd just email it. If i get to someone's desk and they're on the phone, generally that person will notice me and either mouth 'let me call you when i'm done', or indicate that i should wait. Just because i happen to get there when you're on the phone, doesn't mean i did it on purpose or am doing it to be annoying.. there is usually a reason i'm there and it's no less important than what you're on the phone for.
I also hate this when someone is on the phone BS'ing with the friends and I need an answer on a work question! I'm like I'll stare you down until you hang up or put the person on hold to answer my question. Last I checked, you're at work, not in your apartment.

Re: Can we please talk about ettiquite
My personal fave is the little bish that sits across from me, who wears NO SLEEVES regardless of temperature outside, and then turns on her space heater bc shes FREEEEEEEEEEEZING...and suffocates the rest of us for the rest of the day.
Heres an idea...a sweater?
I've started turning my heater on now just because I know it blows the circuit out and it scares her out of using it again for 10 days or so...lolol
I love the people who drop paper towels in the sink, on the floor of the bathroom and leave it there...and never mind the trolls in my office that pee and poo everywhere. There was #2 on the floor a few weeks ago. I mean??? how does that even happen?
And there is a ton of inappropriate dressing going on in my office. From boobs hanging out , to too short dresses, its out of control!
Oh and I LOVE the cell phone users IN the office. Hey we're on the 33rd floor and no one can hear you, even if you stand by the windows so get away from my window and stop shouting!
Oh and if you're on a conference call, please press mute. I don't need to hear your housekeeper vacuuming in the background...

LOL, never knew breast pump pieces freaked people out... After pumping for 2 years ( 2 kids) I realized that most people don't really know what they are looking at when seeing the aforementioned parts. I think I air dried my breast pump pieces by the sink in the kitchen area a few times, never used the microwave to sterilize it though... Not sure it is a good idea as they are made of plastic.

Re: Can we please talk about ettiquite
I work my butt off all day, EVERY day for a very demanding boss. Your boss? Not as demanding as mine and that's great for you. But do not interrupt me with questions about "how do you do this" and "how do you do that" when you could be using the electronic tutors on the computer during your down time instead of playing video games, online shopping and having your botox done on your friggin lunch hour.
By the way? I and another co-worker now have your boss' phone line on our phones because you took an extended lunch one day and a very important client call came in that you were not in to catch. AND WASH YOUR HANDS WHEN YOU USE THE LADIES ROOM YOU FRIGGIN PSYCHO!!
Phew! Got that off my chest!

My boss's phone lines are in your phone so when me or my boss is not there to answer them, you can pick up. My boss is your boss' boss. It's important the phones get answered. Every time I leave the desk there is a missed call for my boss and you didn't get it. What am I missing here?

Grunting while taking a BM in the office restroom is never acceptable. We all have to go at times but do so without all the over exaggerated noises or bring a muzzle in with you if you can't control it. I worked with a girl whose bathroom habits were so bad we actually had to post a bathroom etiquette plaque...

We had construction going on and the construction crews were taking our food out of the fridge if we left it in there. One of the first days (before we realized there was a problem) I left my lunch in there to eat the next day. I was 5-6 months pregnant at the time. I went in the next day to make sure my lunch was there and it was gone. I almost put a sign up that said thank you for eating my unborn childs food

Re: Can we please talk about ettiquite
please don't email me INCESSANTLY on a SATURDAY night from Japan KNOWING that it's my anniversary and that I am out with my DH. Why do you know that? Because I sent a preemptive email on Friday with just that info. And even more so, don't title the email "I know it's your anniversary, but...."
PS...It was to TRACK freaking package. Which I had already sent the tracking # to him in the aforementioned preemptive email. PLUS, I had just flown home the day before from covering a shoot for him because we were double booked.

Re: Can we please talk about ettiquite
If you are going to take a "bath" in the bathroom sink, wipe the counter dry so the next person who washes their hands doesn't get their clothes wet.
I also had a problem with people brushing their teeth at the sink too. There's no need to come into the bathroom and see you foaming at the mouth with toothpaste. I worked with one woman who would go into the stall and do it. Give a whole new meaning to multi-tasking

where are people supposed to brush their teeth if not the bathroom sink? I brush my teeth but i lean over with head down so no one has to get an eyeful when they walk in.
