Problems with ring?
The bottom of my e-ring was looking thin & I took it to my jeweler who said that my wedding band is rubbing against it & wearing it down. The only solution is to have them tacked together as one ring.
Im really ******. My e-ring is a platinum Tacori & my wedding band is a platinum Scott Kay. We spent mucho $$ on my rings (obviously) The jeweler said because the rings are not from the same designer they don't fit together correctly & are rubbing.
I'm having them tacked together but I'm still annoyed that after DH spent so much to get me my dream ring it has a problem.

Re: Problems with ring?
Does ring insurance cover things like that?
At least they'll still be the gorgeous rings you love once the jeweler is done with them. Sorry this is happening.

Re: Problems with ring?
The jeweler fixed it at no cost to us because he admitted he should have warned us that can happen when you mix rings from different designers.

Re: Problems with ring?
My rings are platnium and I don't have this issue. My e-ring setting is an antique (it was my great-grandmother's) and my wedding band is new.
Glad your jeweler was able to fix it!
