swollen knuckles
On tuesday my pointer finger knuckle on my right hand started hurting out of nowhere and was all swollen. I was not aware of any injury to it. It's been that way since tuesday and today I woke up and my middle finger had the same thing.
Any idea what this could be? It isn't terribly painful at the moment just both fingers swollen...

Re: swollen knuckles
ever had gout? or arthritis? I would guess either of those. I would see your doc and get some steroids, should bring swelling down.

Re: swollen knuckles
This happened to me many years ago. I had no idea how I "injured" my finger. Turns out, I had/have arthritis. And, not to scare you, but the finger that it happened to has never fully recovered. It's permanently deformed (slightly) and has slightly limited movement (because I didn't see a doctor about it for a while and it didn't get treated).
I'd see a doctor if it still persists.
ETA: My finger definitely hurt!! So it definitely is good that you said yours doesn't hurt too badly.
