no af after provera...
I am so frustrated!!! I finished Provera almost three weeks ago... and nothing. I went in for bloodwork yesterday... I'm not ovulating. So, I go back on Monday for sono and more bloodwork and I will start clomid again.
I'm so confused... can I start clomid without ever getting af? If so, why did I take the provera for ten days and then wait two weeks for af and then wait for the results of bloodwork...???
I guess it will all be explained on Monday. Just wondering if anyone has any insight. Thanks!

I am in the same exact position right now, and am going to the dr. tomorrow. I have taken provera MANY times in the past and always got a period after that. This is the 1st time this has happened. I also don't ovulate without the clomid and did ovulate my last 2 cycles from the clomid. The dr. has no idea why I didn't get a period this month.

I didnt get my period either and waited 3 weeks. I finally went to a fertility specialist to find out what was wrong since I was not ovulating and I was pregnant. Could you be pregnant? I know it sounds stupid but it happened to me. The doc took a pregnancy test before I went on provera and I must have just conceived so it came back negative. By the time I found out I was 6 weeks. You never know.

My doc did a regulas POAS test yesterday that was negative. In my bloodwork he did a pregnancy test too just to be 100% sure before I start the clomid again. I'll find out today what the bloodwork showed.

Same here... the doc did a pregnancy test with the other bloodwork on Wednesday. I did not want to get my hopes up... good thing... negative. I knew it would just be too easy if it was positive. I guess I'll find out what is the enxt step when i go in on Monday.
It is nice to know that I am not the only one who does not seem to respons "normally" to these meds... if there is "nomral"

Well my pregnancy test was neg too -- but thats what i was expecting so I didn't get my hopes up high. But I was totally bummed when my dr. asked me today if I knew what kind of infertility tx my insurance covered. I guess I was hoping the clomid on its own (without IUI) would have worked by now.
I am beginning to realize that my body doesn't follow the way people "normally" respond to meds.
