After one week off Provera.... FINALLY
I finally got AF. Called the RE office and scheduled bloodwork for CD5 next Tuesday. They couldn't sdchedule me until late morning on Monday and I can't go into work that late.
DH is in CA on business from 11/14-11/18. I'm assuming that's when they will want to do the IUI. So I guess we miss this cycle The receptionist wouldn't give me a hint or will the IUI be next week?

Re: After one week off Provera.... FINALLY
I am a bit confused, why you are going in for cd 5 bloodwork ? Never heard of that. I am only familiar with places that do cd 2 or cd 3.
As far as IUI goes, noone can tell you that.
You need to be monitored, and usually around cd10 you go in for a u/s and they see how your follies are growing. Based on the cd 10 u/s, they will try to predict when O will occur. However, you will need to have blood tests done to confirm a surge, or use opks,..(which i don't recommend lately LOL)

Happy dance that you got AF!!
AS for the IUI, it depends on when you O. Your DHs business trip might not interfere. I hope it doesnt! You're new house needs a new baby

Yes, I knew all of that but I don't "O" at all on my own... haven't for over 1 1/2 years so it's almost 100% positive that Clomid and an IUI are in the cards.
Because my AF came a bit late for me this morning (10am), Day 3 would be Sunday and they are not open. Day 4 the earliest apppt. was 9:30 and well I am normally at work for 2 1/2 hours by then... can't miss that much so they are taking me on Tuesday CD5

Re: After one week off Provera.... FINALLY
THEY ARE NOT OPEN SUNDAYS????? Most are because you cant always delay, ex: if your surge is Saturday you have to have IUI on Sunday. what would they do then?

Re: After one week off Provera.... FINALLY
Re clinics need to be open 7 days a week.
I spoke about the monitoring because, I thought you said you asked when you think you will have the IUI done. I thought you were figuring if dh would be in California at that time.
There is just no way to predict that, without going through all the monitoring during the cycle.
I have the same issue....actually, last cycle I ovulated cd 12.
This cycle dh will be coming home from cali, cd 12 lol I am getting my baseline sono done on cd 10. If it looks like O is going to occur, in the next day or two,...I actually am flying out to meet him. :) Desperate measures .... lol

RE of NY in Mineola. I think I got a VERY ditzy receptionist. YEs, I too, have been thinking of the timing of all of this for the past 24 hours and I'm a bit pi$$ed about this too.
Are they open on Sundays? She told me I couldn't come in for bloodwork on Sundays. Could I have gone to Qwest then?
I am planning on calling them Monday morning and asking to speak with a nurse.

I know I'd have to be monitored I was just thinking the approximate time I would O if everything goes ok with Clomid. My RE looked at my charts for the past 1 1/2 and there was only one time I O'ed on my own so Clomid is pretty much a given but of course we will just confirm with bloodwork. She wanted to do a straight IUI using DH's donation that he will provide the same day, hence my concern over his business trip. He's in NYC all this week (staying there for a trade show) and in CA all week the following. He has to travel at least one full week a month
