teaching extensions
If I already have my NYS certification in Secondary Special Education how would I go about becoming certified in Early intervention (Early Childhood Ed)
TIA!

Re: teaching extensions
im currently working towards an extension thru UCSD online. you could look into it. i know hofstra and adelphi also offer extension programs, and a few other local colleges. suny buffalo also offers a completely online extension, but im not sure if its early childhood.
you have to do the coursework and take the cst in the area.

Re: teaching extensions
I had BOCES evaluate my transcripts. Once I got my Sp Ed Certification K-6 and I just had to take one more class for my Birth-2 certification and one more class for my 5-9 extension.
Totally worth it.
I hope that is helpful!
