hair extensions. im having a problem.
some people do plastic surgery to feel better about themselves.and i would LOVE MORE HAIR! but is it ok to get them? i have this overwhelming feeling of guilt because there are children out ther who lose their hair due to chemo.and it kills me. am i being too hard on myself? i really would love to have the clip in ones once in a while to just give me that boost..what are everyones thoughts? i think i may be overthinking this. thanks.

Re: hair extensions. im having a problem.
you are overthinking this and being way to hard on yourself
I would never make the connection from hair extensions to kids with cancer
how about by the extensions and make a donation to a childerns cancer charity?

I have had them twice. I don't see the connection. You can treat yourself and if you want to, donate to a charity if that makes you feel better.

Re: hair extensions. im having a problem.
I had them for my wedding...I made the mistake of gluing them to my head and I lost hair...so I recommend getting clips made or having them braided/sewn in.
Dont feel bad about it

Re: hair extensions. im having a problem.
I don't see how one is connected with the other.
It's not like you are taking the hair away from children with cancer.
I use the clip ins. They have changed my life. I know that sounds dramatic but you don't understand how bad my own hair is. I would think about it constantly- I was always insecure about myself due to my hair. No matter how good I looked on a given day I felt like my fine, flat hair would ruin it. I could never have the styles that everyone else was rocking- my lack of hair would prevent it.
I looked into more permanant extensions but the price was prohibitive as was the upkeep. Plus I heard horror stories about the glue in ones destroying your hair.
The clip ins are great, inexpensive and you can take them in and out whenever you want. They are also easy to use- even for a hair spaz like me...you just need to practice a bit. As long as you match the color to your own hair, nobody will ever know.
FM me if you want more details on mine....

I answered your FM but I also wanted to let you know here that the ones I wear are not human hair- they are synthetic and look great. So that might help!
