Any thoughts of how I can make money from home?
I resigned from my job and we are living on one salary. I am so happy to be home with my 16 yr old, but would love to bring in even $50/wk. I have some time after the baby goes to sleep at night fromaround 7 to 10pm.
Do you know of any data entry from home, clerical work, stuffing enevelopes, selling anything, or any other type of work that you can think of? I found a website called keyforcash.com, but it seems that it's a rip off and not worth my time. Any resources that may help me?

Me 7 lol...I've been looking since my son was born..he's now 18 m/o and his sister is due in one month.  
Seems like everything out there is a scam/rip off. So many people work from home, but I don't know where they find the jobs.

I am a PT WAHM and it just kinda worked out that way. When I resigned from my FT position to stay home with the boys, my boss asked if I could work from home a few hours a week to help them out until they find a replacement.
I thought it would be temporary, but so far it looks like they're not even looking for a replacement. We both feel lucky -- I get to be with my sons and they get continuation of business with their key clients.
Today in our Costco Connection mag, I saw an advertisement for franchisee opportunities -- some of them say you can work from home.
I also know several people who sell Arbonne and can supplement their family income with that very well. HTH.

My friend is a stay at home mom in Staten Island and she managed to earn some cash by starting up an eBay business. Don't know if its profitable but she seems to be doing ok just selling stuff for herself and friends/neighbors on it.
I have a part time job doing refinance closings but I'm an attorney so I think its only limited to attorneys who have their notary public license. Its not very steady unfortunately, some months I can do as many as 12 signings/closings, and other months only 4.
Another idea may be selling Mary Kay cosmetics and Arbonne. Another lawyer friend of mine is selling Arbone from her apartment in Garden City - she says its a nice source of income and you get to meet new people too..

Definetly add me to the list. DH works from home for his dad, but the money isn't that great, so basically we are living off of my salary. I would love to be able to find something that isn't a scam.

I have the option to work from home when I do not have to see clients, and honestly, it's one of those perks we get at work when the higher ups learn to trust our ability to be able to complete our work with this kind of arrangement.
I know that my boss will insist you be in the office if you aren't getting your work done.
TBH as well, I actually prefer going into the office. If I have something important to do and DS is with me, I'm not getting it done.
Not only that, but I have to leave my cell on during business hours to take calls from client's. It's like Murphy's Law they always call with some kind of major problem when DS is wide awake and uncontrollable.
I am not trying to discourage anyone, but feel like I need to put this out there for people who have kids, especially.

I have to agree. Don't get me wrong- i love being home so much and having a decent amount of flexibility in my schedule/with DD (i still go in the field for a few hours a day, but then do all of my charting and paperwork at home) and getting to see her so much, but, IMO it is so much easier to get work done in the office than at home and TBH, i'd probably get things done much quicker there, too.
It can be a great situation and i do love it, but, tagging onto what MSW was saying above me, there are trad offs, and it isn't always as ideal as some people tend to picture it, i think.

I just read on another message board about earning income from posting YouTube videos..Its revenue you earn from the ads posted on your channel..once you have a certain number of views or subscribers, google gives you a cut of their ad revenue...
it might be something to look into..
